New bracelet

In the afternoon Ella made her first bracelet with Zia Deborah and Zio Drobbo's present:

I want one too!

Happy Christmas to you!

It's past midnight and Ella still isn't sleeping she's soooo excited!

These are the last decorations I put up:

My beautiful new Jette Frolich decorations! Don't they look pretty?

And this is the decoration Ella made at school with coffee beans! It's smells wonderful! It makes you want to drink a good coffee. I wonder if Father Christmas will bring me a coffee machine...

This is what the fireplace looks like at the moment, Christmas version!

And this is Ella on Wednesday, posting her letter for Father Christmas. She was very worried it wouldn't get to him on time.

I hope you manage to get to bed before me! Goodnight and Happy Christmas.

This is Father Christmas' letter box (or rather house) this morning under the snow!

After doing all her cleaning... (gosh, her mop works better than mine!)

Ella got busy selling second hand toys!

Ella's Tutorial

This evening Ella taught me how to make a Christmas decoration using your hand:

First you paint your hand as above!

Then you press your hand on a piece of paper...

Then you turn the paper upside down and it starts looking like...

Father Christmas!!!

Snowman!

This is a (very bad) photo of the snowman Ella made with Granpa. They even rolled balls of snow down the slope to make the big balls for the body!

I think he's lost an eye!

Decorating the house for Christmas

Here's a decoration I made with some hearts made by Jette Frolich. She makes the most wonderful decorations using metal and paper too. They are so light I couldn't help transforming these into a mobile and hanging them in front of my favourite door!

Christmas is coming...

Yes, I've started making things for Christmas. I thought I wasn't going to but then... I just started doing it.
This is about how I transformed some red wool:

into this Christmas decoration:

And this is what Ella would like for Christmas (I wonder where she got that idea from...?!)
